Fantastic location, great apartment, lots of room and bright. Well equipped kitchen, one bedroom on suite and another full bathroom which wasn’t clear on the site. Only complaint is we could not figure out how to work turn on the tv, a simple guide to same would have been useful.
We had a fantastic stay at City Break Apartments. The apartment was spotless, modern, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a great stay. The rooms were spacious and well equipped, making it feel like a home away from home. The service was excellent, communication was clear and efficient, and the staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. The location is ideal, close to the city centre and within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and public transport. We travelled by car and paid for parking, which was very convenient and easy to use. I would definitely recommend City Break Apartments to anyone visiting Dublin and would happily stay here again.
Don't use this company. We stayed there a week or so ago. My main complaints are: 1) We had to pick up a key MILES away from where the apartment was. No parking. 2) We had to do a 'Self check in' which involved downloading their app, entering all our personal information, uploading a copy of my driver's license, and my credit card. This took at least 20 minutes. A guy there walked me through it. He was helpful. It is not simple. You should NOT have to install someone's app on your phone to check in FFS. 3) There were no staff on site at the place we went to. Park House, Benson St. It was VERY difficult to find. 4) The 'service' turns out to be YouTube videos. 5) No parking available. So I rented a car park space in a public car park building about 1km away 6) Even just getting the telly going was impossible without emailing them. They sent a link to a YouTube video - which did in fact tell us what to do. We could never have worked it out otherwise. Overall the apartments at Park House are just sort of sterile and soulless. Lots of internal and external noises. Thumps and bumps from the internal areas of the building all night long.
We recently stayed at this property and had a mixed experience. Pros: The location is excellent — very central and close to plenty of convenience stores, which made it easy to grab anything we needed. The staff at the key collection point were friendly and helpful. Cons: Parking was not in the same building as the apartment. Although it was only about a 5-minute walk, this was not stated in the property description, which was disappointing. We also experienced several issues with the facilities. The laundry dryer was non-functional from the start of our stay until the end. Despite contacting customer service multiple times, we received various excuses — from limited manpower to parts needing to be ordered. We were even told it had been fixed on the third day, but it remained unusable throughout our stay. This was especially frustrating as laundry facilities were one of our main criteria when choosing this place. We had problems with the water heater as well. We were asked to refer to their video guides, but the control panel shown in the video was different from the actual one in the apartment, so we had to figure things out ourselves. What should have been a straightforward task became unnecessarily complicated. The same thing happened when we asked for help with the dryer — we were told to check the video guide, which wasn’t helpful at all. Additionally, the apartment felt rather rundown and would benefit from some refurbishment. Overall, while the location and staff were positives, the unresolved issues, lack of clear instructions, and misleading information made our stay far less enjoyable than expected
Great experience with City Break Apartments! Prior to arrival, I was notified that there was a plumbing problem with the original apartment that could not be fixed in time for my stay. I was upgraded to a larger unit at no charge. It was beautiful! Their communication was excellent. All of my questions were answered very quickly, even over the weekend. I would definitely use them again. Highly recommend!
