Starting at Tejas Brewery in Sawyer Yards, this scenic bike route takes you across Buffalo Bayou and into the charming lower Heights area. Along the way, you’ll pass popular stops like Little Woodrow's, BB's Cafe, Christian's Tailgate, Onion Creek, Bobcat Teddy's Icehouse, and more on White Oak Drive up Heights Boulevard to Washington Avenue, before looping back to Sawyer Yards. It’s a fantastic way to explore the city while enjoying views from the bike and stopping at local favorites.
This route is slightly more adventurous than others, requiring a bit more pedaling. While there’s nothing overly challenging, you will encounter a small hill along the way. It may take a little effort going up, but the downhill ride that follows is incredibly rewarding, making the climb worth it for the thrill and scenic views.

Had a couple of beers outside and watched the Football. Live music. Drinks well priced. Good atmosphere. Lots of seating outside.

I've been performing as a solo acoustic act here for the better part of the decade. It's by far one of my favorite places to not only perform but hang out. It's such a chill and comfortable vibe.
Great atmosphere. Inside is dive bar, but twinkle lights add a friendly touch. Nice patio with good music. Plenty of heaters for when it’s chilly. Staff was very friendly. They have a food truck of crawfish.
Heights through and through. This little bar is mostly outdoor patio. It have a fun and friendly vibe in a dive bar setting. The live music and dog appropriate setting is a welcoming environment. Also a bonus is when they have the BBQ vendor there. Delicious food goes well with a fun place. Check it out.
