Really lovely shop, very impressive selection of yarn and accessories and a huuuuge collection of pattern books and pamphlets. Has rapidly become my favourite place to get my supplies. You come in for one item and leave with bags full!

Can't really say a bad word about this lovely shop 💖 I've been going here for a few years after giving knitting another go! My grandma taught me when I was in my teens. When Eleanor ran the shop, she took time out of her day to show me where I was going wrong and point me in the right direction. I also picked up crochet as a hobby too and you could say I've been "hooked" ever since! 😉 I've previously enjoyed one of the yarn dyeing classes and would love to attend them again. It's a shame that they haven't been popping up lately 😞 When Hannah and Dan took over the shop, at first I was a little apprehensive, but after meeting them I still felt just as comfortable as before and they are both lovely! I love popping in and having a little chit chat while I'm squishing all the yarn 🧶 Hannah and Dan have curated a lovely range of yarns to suit all tastes as well as some books with lots of patterns in! I'm a big fan of the new crochet hooks they've brought in and I love popping in to see what new items they've brought in! I've attached some photographs of some of my projects with the yarns from Knit Nottingham! 💕

Really lovely yarn shop, probably my favourite in Nottingham. They’ve got a wide variety of high quality yarn brands and quite a few budget options as well. If you’re looking to purchase hand-dyed yarn you’re better off calling first to check if any is in stock before making a trip as it’s incredibly popular and sells out fast!

Absolutely lovely shop, IAM a wheelchair user and I was spotted loitering outside admiring the goodies while my hubby took the kids in the comic shop, I was spotted and very kindly offered the ramp to come in for a mooch. I waited outside so hubby could find me and went in once he came back. I found the most amazing yarn and found the shop easy to navigate and get about and find what I needed and the staff are so closely and helpful and kind. No pressure just help to get about the ramp was offered again to help me out deployed super quick and I can't thank you enough for being a lovely safe space that's disability friendly. The shops on a hill but not too steep and is manageable the ramp is perfect and sturdy and the treats inside are fabulous. Thankyou. Please do go visit

Customer service the big companies could never match! I saw on instagram they had the boomerang bags bags back in stock, within a couple of hours of messaging them, my order was processed and on it's way. Very happy with my bags, and would shop here again. Thank you! Lottie 🧶
