Begin your journey with a fascinating visit to the legendary Cu Chi Tunnels, an extraordinary underground network stretching more than 250 kilometers. Built in 1948 during the resistance against French colonial rule, these tunnels later became a vital base for the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. They served as living quarters, hospitals, storage rooms, and command centers for thousands of soldiers. Walking through the narrow passageways offers a profound glimpse into the resilience, intelligence, and determination of those who once lived and fought underground. The intricate system also showcases the ingenuity of the Vietnamese people in overcoming immense challenges under wartime conditions.
In the afternoon, the tour continues through the bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh City to explore its historical and cultural highlights. Visit the War Remnants Museum, which presents powerful exhibits about the country’s history, and the Reunification Palace, once the home of South Vietnam’s president and a symbol of national unity. Admire the striking French architecture of the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office before heading to Thien Hau Pagoda, a serene Chinese-style temple in the heart of Cho Lon (Chinatown). This full-day exploration perfectly combines Vietnam’s rich history, spiritual culture, and architectural charm.

The Củ Chi Tunnels, located near Ho Chi Minh City, are an extensive underground network used by Vietnamese soldiers during the Vietnam War. Stretching over 200 kilometers, these tunnels served as hiding spots, living quarters, supply routes, and hospitals. Today, they are a popular tourist attraction where visitors can explore sections of the tunnels and learn about the resilience and ingenuity of the Vietnamese people during wartime. Great experience and unforgettable day.

The experience was mixed. I had the bad luck to pick a terrible guide, frustrating part of my experience. The place itself is full of history and very impressive, but the huge tourist exploration can be irritating to the ones interested in history. But, anyway, the ingeniosity of the vietnamese resistance is admirable.

A lot of fun visiting the tunnels with our terrific guide Kynie. So helpful in making sure everyone had the best experience. Full of interesting information and willing to answer all our questions. The tunnels are a fascinating glimpse into Vietnam’s history and well worth a visit.

Friday 17th October 2025: Good experience to visit and see how the NVA were so aware of their own surroundings and used them to their advantage. Plenty to visit on the site, but it gets extremely busy with tourists, and we were there at the start of the season. You can use the rifle range whilst there: hand gun (cant remember which one), and M16. I was informed they charge $2 per round, so if you want a full clip, thats gonna cost. Enjoyed the visit, it was just too busy, its one of thos early morning jobs you need to be there as soon as it opens to get total enjoyment

It is a symbol of Vietnamese people's resilience. Going through the tunnel was one of my thrilling experience in life. You will feel anxious while entering into the tunnels. Lot of tourists are visiting this place but still able to explore all the tunnel areas. There is a shooting area where you can practice shooting with M14 or other guns. We also got opportunity to ate cassava prepared by Vietnamese and it tastes good. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and explained all the things nicely.

The guide was very friendly. At the war museum we would have liked the guide to speak a bit about agent Orange.

If you want to know as much as possible please take this tour you won’t regret!
