Da Nang Tour Combines Marble Mountains, Spiritual Caves, and Coastal Peninsula Views

A cultural and scenic journey through Da Nang begins at the iconic Marble Mountains, a cluster of limestone and marble peaks symbolically representing the five elements of nature. Visitors ascend through winding paths to discover ancient pagodas, hidden caves, and elevated viewpoints overlooking the coastline and surrounding cityscape.

Within the complex, the atmospheric Am Phu Cave offers a striking spiritual experience, featuring symbolic depictions of Buddhist concepts of heaven and hell. At the base of the mountains, the nearby Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village showcases a long-standing tradition of marble craftsmanship, where local artisans create detailed sculptures and religious artwork.

The journey continues north to the lush Son Tra Peninsula, a protected natural area known for its dense forest and coastal scenery. Here, the prominent Linh Ung Pagoda stands overlooking the sea, home to the towering Lady Buddha statue that has become one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks.

From this elevated viewpoint, travellers enjoy sweeping panoramic views of Da Nang’s coastline, mountains, and open sea. Combining natural landscapes with cultural and spiritual highlights, the tour offers a well-rounded exploration of central Vietnam’s heritage and scenery.

Marble Mountains was a great experience. The entrance ticket is only 40,000 VND, and the elevator is very convenient — 15,000 VND per ride (30,000 VND round-trip). I spent about 1.5–2 hours exploring the caves, pagodas and viewpoints. Everything is well-organized, and the views over Da Nang are fantastic. Definitely worth visiting while in the area.

The views from the top are beautiful, even in a bit of rain, and the climb through the caves and pagodas is interesting without being too exhausting. The area feels peaceful and well-maintained, and there’s plenty to explore — temples, statues, and little pathways that make you feel like you’re discovering hidden spots. It’s a nice mix of nature and culture, and much more relaxing and enjoyable than the crowded tourist traps. Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re in the area

This is a must go place for any tourist travelling to da nang. Best to go early as this place opens at 7am. There is lot of walking up the stairs. So carry water and be prepared to explore the pagodas and mesmerizing caves. Also donot miss the highest point of the peak here which gives a beautiful view of the city and the sea
