We will begin our day with a visit to My Son Sanctuary, the ancient capital and religious center of the Champa Kingdom, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Tucked away in a tranquil green valley, My Son is home to an extraordinary collection of red brick towers and Hindu sanctuaries built between the 7th and 13th centuries. These monuments stand as remarkable symbols of the Cham civilization, showcasing intricate carvings and spiritual devotion to the Hindu god Shiva. Walking through this sacred site, you will feel the serene atmosphere of centuries past and gain insight into one of Vietnam’s oldest cultures. After exploring the ruins and capturing the beauty of My Son, we will enjoy a flavorful lunch at a local restaurant before continuing our journey.
In the afternoon, our adventure continues at the Marble Mountains, known in Vietnamese as Ngu Hanh Son, representing the five elements of earth, water, fire, metal, and wood. Here, you will explore fascinating natural caves, climb to the mountain’s summit for breathtaking views, and visit Linh Ung Pagoda, a site of great spiritual and historical importance. The journey also includes a stop at Am Phu Cave, where the unique replica of “Heaven and Hell” offers a symbolic reflection on Buddhist beliefs. As you wander through this mysterious cave, the sounds of fluttering bats and the cool mountain air add to the experience. We will conclude the day with a visit to the magnificent Son Tra Linh Ung Pagoda on the Son Tra Peninsula, the largest pagoda in Da Nang, where the towering Goddess of Mercy statue watches gracefully over the city and sea, creating a peaceful and inspiring end to the trip.

Marble Mountains was a great experience. The entrance ticket is only 40,000 VND, and the elevator is very convenient — 15,000 VND per ride (30,000 VND round-trip). I spent about 1.5–2 hours exploring the caves, pagodas and viewpoints. Everything is well-organized, and the views over Da Nang are fantastic. Definitely worth visiting while in the area.

The views from the top are beautiful, even in a bit of rain, and the climb through the caves and pagodas is interesting without being too exhausting. The area feels peaceful and well-maintained, and there’s plenty to explore — temples, statues, and little pathways that make you feel like you’re discovering hidden spots. It’s a nice mix of nature and culture, and much more relaxing and enjoyable than the crowded tourist traps. Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re in the area

This is a must go place for any tourist travelling to da nang. Best to go early as this place opens at 7am. There is lot of walking up the stairs. So carry water and be prepared to explore the pagodas and mesmerizing caves. Also donot miss the highest point of the peak here which gives a beautiful view of the city and the sea

Visiting these mounzains was such an amazing experience! From the moment you step inside, you can feel how ancient and powerful this place is. The formations are absolutely stunning, and the caves themselves are enormous, much larger than I expected. Walking through them feels like exploring another world hidden beneath the surface. Everything is beautifully lit, making it easy to take in all the incredible details. The entrance fee is only 40K VND, which is really affordable for such a memorable and breathtaking adventure. I’d definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the area, it’s one of those places that leaves a lasting impression!

Good to go but too many people at the small space. Cave is marvelous. When you come with bike, it seems not able to park on the car parking lot. You just park at the coffee shop and buy one cafe after exploring mountain. So many steps are not fit for old people.
