We will begin our day with a journey to My Son Sanctuary, the ancient capital and spiritual heart of the Champa Kingdom, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Surrounded by lush green mountains, My Son is home to dozens of red brick temples and sanctuaries that date back from the 7th to the 13th century. These remarkable structures, dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva, stand as a testament to the artistic and cultural achievements of the Cham people. As you walk among the ruins, the peaceful setting and intricate carvings evoke a deep sense of history and devotion, offering a glimpse into a civilization that once thrived in Central Vietnam.
After exploring the wonders of My Son, we will continue to the ancient town of Hoi An, stopping for a delicious Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant. Once a major trading port between the 16th and 18th centuries, Hoi An today retains its old-world charm and cultural richness. Our walking tour will take us through the beautifully preserved streets to visit the Hoi An Museum, historic Ancient Houses, and ornate Assembly Halls influenced by Chinese culture. We will also stop at an Art Craft Manufacturing Workshop and cross the famous Japanese Covered Bridge, an enduring symbol of the town’s multicultural heritage. Despite the passage of time, Hoi An remains a serene and picturesque destination, where every corner tells a story of history, art, and timeless beauty.
