We will begin our journey with a visit to the fascinating Pig Market in Ba Ren, Quang Nam, a unique local market entirely devoted to the trade of pigs. This lively market offers a glimpse into the everyday lives and traditions of rural Vietnam, where bargaining and trading reflect the rhythm of community life. On the way to My Lai, we will stop at the ancient Khuong My Towers, remnants of the once-mighty Champa Kingdom, dating back to the early ninth century. These beautifully weathered structures showcase the architectural brilliance and spiritual devotion of an ancient civilization. We will also visit the Nui Thanh Victory Monument, a symbolic site commemorating the fierce 1965 battle between American forces and the resilient people of Quang Nam.

Continuing the journey, we will reach the My Lai Museum, a solemn site preserving the memory of one of the most tragic events of the Vietnam War. Here, you will learn about the heartbreaking massacre that occurred on March 16, 1968, when more than 300 unarmed civilians, including women, children, and the elderly, lost their lives. As we walk through My Lai village, the quiet fields and humble homes stand as silent witnesses to history. Meeting local residents offers a meaningful opportunity to hear their stories and understand the enduring strength and resilience of this community. This visit is not only a reflection on the past but also a tribute to peace and humanity.
