Our journey begins with a climb up the ancient stone steps of the Marble Mountains, a breathtaking cluster of five marble and limestone hills named after the five elements. As we ascend, we will explore mysterious caves and centuries-old pagodas while taking in sweeping views of Da Nang’s coastline. The visit continues to Linh Ung Pagoda, a revered national historical and cultural site filled with spiritual significance, followed by a descent into Am Phu Cave, known for its symbolic “Heaven and Hell” replica and the eerie flutter of bats’ wings. The adventure then leads to the tranquil Son Tra Peninsula, home to the majestic Son Tra Linh Ung Pagoda—one of Da Nang’s largest and most sacred temples, surrounded by lush greenery and ocean views.
After immersing ourselves in this blend of culture and nature, we will travel along the spectacular Hai Van Pass, Vietnam’s highest and most scenic mountain road, stretching 21 kilometers with panoramic views of sea and sky. The journey continues to Lang Co Beach, a pristine paradise with soft white sand, calm turquoise waters, and gentle waves perfect for swimming. With pleasant temperatures averaging 25°C during the bathing season, it offers a perfect escape for relaxation. Enjoy the picturesque views of Chan May Bay and Lang Co Fishing Village, followed by a delicious lunch before unwinding on the beach and returning to the hotel.

One of the most beautiful roads I have seen. I heard many ask if it’s safe or can ride with the automatic transmission, you absolutely can and it’s not as dangerous as it looks from the photos. If you don’t have much experience you can just drive slower and take longer angles. The ride is definitely worth it in any weather. Have been here several times and it was always great. You can find various cafes on the way and enjoy the views. The road at the start (if you come from Da Nang) is being a bit dusty due to the nearby construction but very soon it ends and you get to ride pretty normal road. Safe driving ✌️

Hai Van Pass is an amazing mountain pass right in the middle of Central Vietnam.. It's famous for its dramatic coastal views and winding roads. It acts as a natural border between Da Nang and Thua Thien-Hue Province. The pass offers breathtaking views of the coastline, mountains, and the sea, which makes it a super popular spot for tourists and a favorite among motorcycle riders.

The Hai Van Pass (also known as "Ocean Cloud Pass") is a stunning mountain pass located in Central Vietnam, approximately 20 km north of Da Nang and 80 km south of Hue. It serves as a natural boundary between Da Nang City and Thua Thien Hue Province. Whether you're looking for an adventurous motorbike ride or a scenic drive, the Hai Van Pass offers an unforgettable experience for visitors to Da Nang.if you can ride bike or dont have licence you can take easy rider #gphuot #jenny #traveltovietnam

Most beautiful views in the world. Please try Heritage train from Hue to Da Nang or reverse to have great experience

How knowledged the tour guide was :)

It was alright. Nice high view of Da Nang and the winding road that you drive to get up there. The view point / fort area is small but free. You can see both sides of the pass from here. Good for stretching your legs, but otherwise, quite dull. The road up is not that scenic. Lots of lush trees and peek a boo views of the water. There is a brand new water fall bath area that just opened at the base of the ascent. It's the biggest waterfall with mountain stream water. Only 1 other water fall that was basically a small, small, unimpressive stream after that. The strip of shops have garbage piled along side of them that makes for a small sad sight. I'm not tourist that can ignore stuff like that. 1 star knocked for this. It obviously wasn't just garbage from the last day or two. I wish people (merchants, locals and visitors) would take better care of their neighboring spaces, not just their immediate spaces or property. The fort itself is nice but not worth the extra 10km and time if you are prone to carsickness or have other things to see. I was fine with the ride but my mother got sick. Apparently, it gets really busy some days, with folks running across the road and no place for cars and busses to stop but it was very quiet when we were there. I'd definitely NOT go back if it was busy. I would be happier spending more time at one of the many seafood restaurants or drink spots along the way.

We had the very best time, Our guide Mr Vu and the driver were so jolly and happy-hearted. Totally recommend this. We tried some amazing seafood as well.

The best part of the day was Marble Mountain with Monkey Mountain coming in 2nd. The morning part was okay, the fog was heavy and the beach was okay at best. I would recommend just doing the half day afternoon tour.

Our tour guide Mark was brilliant, professional, fun and had a lot of knowledge! The tour was brilliant and definitely worth doing. Spectacular views and a great day!
