TL:DR Don't bother, it is definitely not 5*, if you get a good price go expecting 3* and enjoy the view. The stars are not bright, if you are used to London 5* this is more like 3*. The room is tired, the wifi does not connect and is not secure (not good enough for 5 star in 2026). There is room service but no menu in the room. There is the option to fill in a card for breakfast in the room, but no pen to write with and then the card was not collected! There is a fridge but only 2 small waters, and no way to make a hot drink. The bathroom has black and orange mould, there is grout missing. The water is warm or cold, never hot at 9am on a weekday. The hairdryer does not work. Housekeeping knocked at 9:30am so no chance of a lazy morning. The air conditioning is very old with a broken screen so no way to change it. There is parking but not enough for 54 rooms so be careful in the busy months. However, the view is amazing. **Not very safe for solo female travellers - my room number was announced loudly to a full reception!**

Stunning views! Ideal for stargazing and seeing Toledo at night. The hotel is old but well-maintained and clean. Cozy bedding and secure windows made for a comfortable stay. One tip: the entrance is a bit tight, so large cars might have some trouble.

Maybe it wore five stars proudly when it first opened; now it’s a little road-worn, a little tired, but like any good old girl, that just adds to the charm. It’s a great place to stay: friendly staff, perfect location, and rooms that are large, comfortable, and built for actual living, not just sleeping. I brought my own coffee maker to make peace with the morning gods, but even without it, this place is ideal as a stopover on a motorcycle trip. Historic downtown is an easy walk, and for the lame, the lazy, or the gloriously hungover, a Bolt ride is cheap, fast, and painless. Either way, it was absolutely worth the stay.”
