This block course is specially designed for young beginners eager to explore the fun and excitement of skateboarding. It includes four consecutive sessions held on Saturdays, with each class focusing on confidence, coordination, and safe skateboarding techniques. By starting early, children not only develop balance and board control but also learn how to fall correctly, helping them build courage and prevent injuries. During the sessions, accompanying parents or guardians can relax in the SHB Café or the Skate Yard, although staying inside the skate hall is not permitted. Skateboards, helmets, and protective pads are available for rent on-site, ensuring that every child has the equipment needed for a safe and enjoyable experience.
As the only covered skatepark in Berlin, Skatehalle Berlin provides an inspiring environment for skaters of all levels. Open 363 days a year, it features a 1,200 m² street area, a park, and an outdoor skate section with a covered mini ramp, complemented by a café, an in-house cinema, an outdoor bar, and a skate shop. The venue also hosts a variety of youth and cultural projects throughout the year, including art programs, cultural events, and language support for refugees, making it much more than just a skatepark—it’s a creative and inclusive community space for everyone. Please note that there is no parking available on the premises.
