The Board Buddy course offers kids the perfect opportunity to skate with friends in a fun and supportive environment. Each session is offered individually and can be booked separately, allowing flexibility for families and participants. Held every Sunday from 09:00 to 11:00, the course is guided by experienced trainers from Skatehalle Berlin who help children build confidence, improve their skills, and enjoy the joy of skating together. Whether it’s your first time stepping on a board or a chance to practice with friends, the focus is on learning through fun, making new connections, and building team spirit. Accompanying persons can relax in the SHB Café or the Skate Yard during the course, as staying inside the hall is not permitted. Equipment such as skateboards, helmets, and pads can be rented easily on-site by speaking with the café staff.
As the only covered skatepark in Berlin, Skatehalle Berlin provides an inspiring home for the city’s skate community throughout the year. The venue features a 1,200 m² street area, a park, and an outdoor section with a covered mini ramp, along with a café, cinema, outdoor bar, and skate shop. Beyond its skate sessions and workshops for both children and adults, the Skatehalle also runs a wide range of youth and cultural projects that promote creativity, community, and inclusion, such as language programs for refugees and art-related events. Please note that parking is not available on the premises.

Your own pool where you can practice until the instructor drops or the air in the cylinder runs out is one of the most important elements for me. In addition, the staff who really teach everything that is the basis of diving. There is "no nonsense" here and I also appreciate that very much. Almost my entire family has trained at Buddy and more courses are still planned. In addition, trips. Both domestic and foreign are not only diving but also all-day stay together at the diving site/boat/hotel with people who are simply wonderful and willing to share their knowledge and experience. I really recommend it!
A great team of instructors, our own pool, very helpful instructors, and a diving community built around the club are a perfect combination that guarantees a fun time in a safe environment. I highly recommend it!
Excellent teaching, top-notch instructors and divemasters, an incredible atmosphere, culture, and openness to others! Plus, there's our own pool, where you can practice elements until you're perfect, with no time limits during the courses. The equipment is of excellent quality and is diverse, so everyone can find the perfect fit. The focus here is on your own safety and the safety of others, not only in the pool during the courses, but also in the field. The dives are conducted with great care and attention. A place with a soul that draws you in like a magnet :)
At Buddy, I completed my OWD, drysuit, AOWD, nitrox, rescue, and Dive Master training over six years. I also completed first aid training. Why all this in one place, instead of gathering different experiences in different clubs? Firstly, there's a large, experienced, and professional team of instructors. Secondly, the people are quite nice ;-) Thirdly, the club has its own pool, which means that all exercises, training, workshops, etc., last as long as needed, not just 60 minutes and that's it. There's time to hone your skills. Fourthly, the club has a large group of alumni who are kind, helpful, and create an interesting and diverse community in which I feel comfortable.
I think everyone knows that the courses are run very professionally! The instructors there do a fantastic job! A month after the course, I was diving in Egypt. It might not be an achievement, but what mattered to me was that I felt safe underwater after the course with them! However, it's worth mentioning something else: Buddy isn't just a diving school, it's a community! And a thriving one at that! :))) I guarantee that after the course with them, you'll want to be a part of it! :)
