Get Certified

Get back on the water and validate your skills with this intensive certification session designed for experienced kiteboarders. The half-hour assessment allows a certified instructor to evaluate your current level, observing your ability to handle the kite, execute maneuvers, and ride upwind independently. During the session, you’ll perform all tasks on your own, while the instructor provides guidance only if something is missing. This training is ideal for those who already have a solid understanding of kiteboarding fundamentals and are seeking official recognition of their skills. If the instructor determines that additional practice is needed, the session can be extended on the spot to ensure you reach your full potential. Upon successful completion, students will receive an IKO certification, validating their ability to ride and set up a kite safely anywhere in the world or to rent equipment from certified IKO centers.

The session includes one-on-one instruction with an IKO-certified instructor, all necessary equipment and safety gear, radio helmet communication, and gear insurance. Participants must be comfortable in the water and able to swim independently. It is recommended to bring a bathing suit, towel, and a change of dry clothes to fully enjoy the experience. Please note that lessons may be rescheduled in case of inclement weather, including thunder, lightning, gusty winds, offshore winds, or lack of wind. All decisions regarding rescheduling are made at the discretion of the instructors and management, prioritizing safety and optimal training conditions.
