Visited Bergwelt for a friend’s wedding and stayed the night. Would highly recommend visiting if you have the opportunity, it is remote and situated kandel, and a distance away from Freiburg im Breisgau. The rooms felt very premium and luxurious, however the amazing thing about this hotel is the views as it is high up kandel.
This is a really nice location to rest after a hike. Beautiful views towards Freiburg and the Feldberg. We had a mixed plate with bread, pasta and drinks. All meat-based products are regional and self made. The air-dryed sausages are very tasty. We come back!
Spectacular views, good restaurant, hiking trails.
Nice mountain restaurant with a terras with view on the starting strip of paragliders. We gave a lift to a paragliders from parking lot at the foot of the mountain. Had a good coffee and cake at the terras.
Just opened and not fully operational. Big crowds on this very hot day, long line for the self-service counter. Very small choice on menu. Looks nice though - when it opens fully, should be very popular. Great views and great walks up there.
