Hired a bike for the day. Planned to ride one of Bike Spain tour routes (with navigation) Very hot on the day of my booking. They were very helpful with an evening pickup and I was out riding at 6.30am the next day. Specialized bike was in excellent condition and I loved the route. Bike Spain were excellent to deal with. I had an incredible experience renting a Specialized Tarmac from Javier, who was very responsive via email helping set up my booking and confirming the details. I was able to use the Renfe train to take the bike up to Navacerrada and experience some incredible scenery and climbs in the mountains. I’d recommend a road bike rental for any cyclist looking to explore Madrid on a high end bike.
Bike Spain Tours set me up with the perfect city hybrid multi gear bike for a self-guided tour in Madrid to the extensive park, Casa de Campo then bike path along the river. They shared a bike route, provided water, helmet, extensive local knowledge from local cycling guides. They also offer city and park tours. This truly lifted my exploration of Madrid by bike. My family of three did a self-guided tour through Andalusia over March Break. The Bike Spain Tour team was amazing, arranging our bike rentals, including procuring a smaller road bike for my 9-year-old. The bikes were in excellent condition, the routes were challenging and beautiful and we had pleasant stays at each of the hotels on the route. They picked up our luggage at each hotel and had it delivered at the next hotel so we could travel worry free. They were pleasant and friendly to work with and kept in touch throughout our trip - providing advice on additional routes we might want to add along the way. We felt well taken care of and appreciated as customers. I cannot say enough good things about this company and their friendly staff. Amazing family memories were made!
