Absolutely one of the best spots in all of Miami Beach! South Pointe Park is beautifully maintained with incredible ocean views, wide walking paths, and a relaxed atmosphere. You can watch cruise ships sail by, enjoy the breeze from the pier, or just sit on the grass and people-watch. Great for a morning jog, picnic, or sunset stroll. The playground and splash pad are perfect for kids, and there’s plenty of space for everyone. Every visit feels peaceful and scenic — a true Miami gem!
South Pointe Park is one of the most beautiful spots in Miami Beach. It offers stunning views of the ocean, Fisher Island, and the cruise ships sailing by. There’s also a great pier for fishing or taking photos. A must-visit when in Miami!
South Pointe Park is such a warm, safe, and beautiful place in Miami—it’s easily one of my favorite spots. At night, it’s perfect for a romantic walk with stunning views of the ocean and city lights. This time I visited during a sunny day with my family, and we had an absolute blast enjoying the open spaces, fresh breeze, and vibrant atmosphere. The park is both kids- and pet-friendly, making it a wonderful place for everyone to relax, explore, and create great memories.
Get here early, early for $20 all day parking or use public transit or Uber! Must see destination as a tourist! Beautiful location with palms in green grass for a picnic, walkways to Ocean Drive, kid friendly splash pad, outside showers, public restroom and free beach access. Clean sand and beautiful water!
The park itself is very nice, a little windy almost always. Parking lot is a disaster. Half of it is invaded by valet. On the weekend when we came just for a while, we realized the paid parking became fixed $20/25? dollars per day. It's crazy! Not everyone comes to the beach/park there for the whole day. There should definitely be more parking for that park+beach. Also today, park ranger/security? said that they don't allow hammocks anymore. Like why??! We used to like the park much for our walks and picnics but looks like we need to search for other parks. It has a nice shaded playground and water splash area next to it.
