I recommend the tour with Rodrigo. A very nice, helpful and punctual driver, he shares interesting facts along the way and is happy to answer questions. The peninsula is absolutely beautiful, and the route is a bit challenging but doable. The trip was great!
Firstly Vitor our driver was great. A lovely young guy with a lot of knowledge and extremely polite. Highly recommend him. The activity was more difficult than we expected. We only managed about half of it before turning back. The walking was tricky in parts but the big problem was the wind. It nearly swept us off our feet and ceased to be enjoyable. The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful though. In a Scottish highlands kind of way with pinch points that allows the view of the sea from both sides. It’s very remote and otherworldly but probably always windy. Glad we tried it and you should too.
It was an amazing hike with amazing views, but we warned it is quite treacherous and extremely windy so its not for young kids in my opinion, well worth a trip though!!! It took me 3 hours altogether there and back but I wasn't hanging about so id give it 4 hours at least
Lovely day out hiking the PR8 route. Vitor was great with his communication throughout on his rough estimate arrival time and explained everything I need to do the hike. It's a great stress-free alternatives to having to figure out bus routes yourself!
