This full-day tour takes you on a journey through some of Scotland's most historic and scenic locations, beginning with a visit to Stirling Castle (optional), a key site in Scottish history, where you can also spot the iconic William Wallace Monument standing tall on Abbey Craig. Those who prefer not to visit the castle can enjoy a relaxing stroll through the medieval streets of Stirling’s Old Town. We then continue to the coastal town of St. Andrews, where you'll have time for lunch (not included), take in a panoramic tour, and enjoy around two hours to explore its famous castle and cathedral ruins, world-renowned golf course, and the beach where the opening scene of the film Chariots of Fire was filmed. The tour also includes a stop at a whisky distillery, where you'll learn about the whisky-making process—from fermentation to aging—and enjoy a tasting of Scotland’s most traditional drink (distillery entry not included). We conclude the day by crossing the Forth Estuary, offering views of the UNESCO-listed Forth Bridge, before returning to Edinburgh.

Fiona was exceptional. A solid 2.25 h of interesting stories and history well told. A great introduction to St Andrews.

I went to St Andrews without knowing much about the city and left with so many fascinating facts! About golf, medieval history, the university… and even the place where Prince William used to meet Kate for coffee! Our guide was very friendly and helpful. I absolutely recommend this tour. 😊

Ken gave us a great tour with excellent information that we didn’t know and this is our third trip to St Andrews! Great story telling from a Scotsman that knows the area and country well. We really enjoyed it! Thank you and great job!

Fiona was a fabulous guide! Very informative and easy to understand. Took her time and told us so many things. It was a very pleasant and relaxed tour. 10 out of 10 recommend!!

Took two tours in St Andrews (Old Course and Town Tour) and both were wonderful! Thanks to John and Fiona for a such informative and fun tours. Glad we found you!!
