We rented 8 electric mountain bikes for an all-day Sunday ride. The staff were friendly, informed, and generally helpful. After one of us fell off the bike they even gave us a lift! All the bikes seemed to be in great new-like condition. Everything worked well and tuned nicely. They were really fun bikes as well. Lots of power on the bigger bikes while the lighter (SL) bikes had less power but rode quite like a normal bike with the power off.
Myself and a few friends are contemplating investing in an electric mountain bike (I hear you say but that’s cheating!😁) and thought we would have a day in the glorious, picturesque Surrey Hills trying out an electric. Well, what a day we had. The team at SHBR were just brilliant, so knowledgeable from advising what bikes to try out, route suggestions etc. Warm welcome, fast/efficient service. The bikes were brilliant - we had 6.5 hours riding, the runs were just so good (hairy at times) but so exhilarating. We would never have been able to do that on a non-electric bike. Thanks again SHBR - that’s what you call SERVICE - we’ll be back!!!!
Hired a Levo gen4 today from the guys at the riders hub peaslake. They were all very professional,knowledgeable and polite. Fantastic shop with everything you would need for your day out. Awesome trails, so many to choose from.
I rented a practically new, well-maintained MTB that was perfectly adjusted to my size. They set me up with a map on my phone, gave me some really useful tips, and I was ready to hit the trails in no time. The rental process was super easy, and the routes offered a great variety—from beginner-friendly to more technical rides. It was an absolute blast! Plus, the shop is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for mountain biking.
Had the time of my life riding the trails over at Surrey Hills, all thanks to Surrey Hills Bike Rental for equipping us with quality bikes! The bikes were well maintained and a joy to shred. The staff there were friendly and really helpful! I highly recommend any mountain biker who’s visiting London and wants to get in some riding while they’re there to pay them a visit! P.S: my favourite trail was Barry Knows Best…give it a shot!
