6-Session Intro to Hot Glass

This introductory glassblowing class offers an immersive and exciting way to experience the magic of working with molten glass. Designed for absolute beginners, it focuses on teaching the fundamentals—how to gather molten glass from the furnace, shape it using traditional tools, and control temperature and timing to achieve different forms. Participants will gain an understanding of studio safety, teamwork in the hotshop, and the rhythm of working with heat and motion. Instructors provide personalized guidance throughout, ensuring each student feels comfortable, confident, and engaged as they create their first glass pieces.

Beyond simply learning the techniques, this class is about discovering the creative potential of glass as a medium.
