I visited Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi and prayed Friday there in February 2025 — it was an unforgettable experience. The mosque is absolutely stunning, beautifully designed, and perfectly organized. The atmosphere during prayer was peaceful and spiritual. I truly recommend everyone to visit; it’s one of the most beautiful and inspiring places in the UAE.
One of the most beautiful mosque. Proper dresscode or attire is required including headscarf for women. Need to pass from an amazing market using underground pathway. Abu Dhabi Bus Transportation available till the gate of mosque if hafilat card available can travel from any corner of abu dhabi till mosque with just 3 to 6 dirhams. Free of cost and all amenities are available.
It was amazing experience with the architecture and other facilities in the mosque. It was very big and for visitors they allowed to visit the dome, inside domes we shall see chandeliers and wall lighting are amazing with wonderful design. For visitors we have register free online or they have offline counters as well, for women they have to completely cover their hands that is the entry criteria they have to wear full handed shirt. Outside Lighting also top notch with colour changing option must visit place when we are travelling to UAE. Also every where they have photo shooting spots additionally which was good initiative.
