During your visit to Glencairn Museum, you can explore the first floor at your own pace, taking in the mosaic Bird Room, Upper Hall, Great Hall, and the Great Hall balcony, along with the Craftsmanship at Glencairn exhibit. Visitors can also watch a 15-minute video detailing the history of Bryn Athyn, the Pitcairn family, and the museum, providing rich context for the artifacts and spaces you encounter. Family-friendly activities are available, including interactive experiences with prizes for children, making it an engaging visit for all ages.

First-floor access also includes self-guided touring of the current exhibitions, either Cardboard Chronicles: The Biblical Art of Rudolph Bostic or Rushnyky: Sacred Ukrainian Textiles, depending on the season. The open house style allows visitors to join anytime between 1:00-4:00 pm, offering flexibility to explore at a comfortable pace. Access is included with a guided tour or event entry, providing an enriching complement to the structured experiences elsewhere in the museum.
