When the French colonized Hanoi in the late nineteenth century, they brought with them a rich coffee culture that would soon become an integral part of the city’s identity. Over time, Hanoians transformed this foreign tradition into something uniquely Vietnamese, crafting distinctive flavors and brewing styles that capture both creativity and heritage. The streets and alleys of Hanoi are now home to countless hidden cafés, each offering its own twist on this aromatic beverage from the famous egg coffee to coconut coffee and other delightful variations that define the city’s coffee scene.

The Coffee Tasting Experience invites you to uncover these hidden gems while immersing yourself in the city’s warm café culture. You’ll learn about the journey from bean to cup, understanding how Vietnamese coffee is prepared, brewed, and enjoyed. As you sip your way through different blends, you’ll also discover how coffee has become a symbol of Hanoi’s laid-back charm and cultural fusion a perfect blend of French influence and local tradition.

delicious white coffee(35k) in a quiet environment filled with soft music and nice decor. The young owner(I am guessing she was)was very friendly, she explained the Vietnamese coffee names for me. White coffee looked and tasted delicious! Their wifi was working perfectly. The only downside were maaaany mosquitos biting me(bring repellent) and the cleanest bathroom. Still, I enjoyed my time here. Thank you,hen gap lai✨

The place is beautiful with your everyday coffee menu. But it seem to need a serious maintenance & clean up.

The food was really nice, very delicious and healthy. The atmosphere is great, and the art that hangs on the wall gives a nice vibe to the place. Moreover, the prices are good as well. Definitely recommend this place to others.

Came for coffee after visiting the temple next to this place and it was a great choice! Lovely young people running this place and had some great drink/food recommendations. There is a secret Jasmine ice tea not on the menu but they’ll make it and it’s super refreshing and sweet. Ice americano is light and refreshing too. Super fast wifi and spits with outlets. 80mbps ~ Highly recommend. We sat outside with fans and wasn’t hot. There is AC rooms as well.
