Join one of our legendary canal tours and experience the beauty of Amsterdam from the water aboard our 100% electric boats. Depending on the season, you’ll sail on either an open or covered boat, gliding past some of the city’s most famous sights and monuments during this one-hour journey. Departing right in front of the Rijksmuseum, this cruise takes you through the oldest and most charming parts of Amsterdam, where history and architecture blend seamlessly along the canals.
During the 60-minute ride, you’ll explore the iconic canals of the Golden Age, pass through the Jordaan district along the picturesque Prinsengracht, and cruise towards the romantic Skinny Bridge, the Amstel River, and the scenic route of the seven bridges. You’ll also admire the grandeur of the Golden Bend and the cozy charm of the nine little streets before returning to the Rijksmuseum. Between November and February, open boats are used whenever the weather allows, while closed boats ensure comfort when it’s chilly. This unforgettable experience offers a perfect mix of Amsterdam’s highlights, stories, and timeless canal views.

Julia and Sven were delightful! So knowledgeable about the history of the canals - from how they were built, to the wildlife, to the architecture of the homes lining the canals. They engaged the group and made it a special experience for us. I highly recommend Flagship Amsterdam!

Booked a 1 hour unlimited drinks canal cruise leaving from the Rijksmuseum area and it was one of the best choices of my trip. The Flagship employees were educating, friendly, and engaging. The route was well-planned out with timed fun facts and history lessons. The hour goes by quick so you’ll likely only have 1 or 2 drinks, but it’s all worth the value. You must see Amsterdam from the canals!

It was definitely the best experience in Amsterdam. We searched several cruise services, but some of them were a top closed boats which did not feel comfortable to see the city. Flagship Amsterdam was a great choice since it has a lovely colourful open boat with great guides and great offer of drinks. If I come again, will definitely have cruise with Flagship and will suggest to the people who visits there. For rainy days they provide cover on the boat and they have lovely colourful umbrellas matching with boat colour :)

We bought the "Luxury Saloon Boat Tour" with Headout, but ended up on the Heineken tour at 7:30pm. No matter! We got what we wanted (an open-roof boat, nice and quiet, later departure, and, most importantly, live narration - free beer was a bonus). Was a lovely tour and we had a good time.

We found ourselves with some time to kill after dinner being shorter than we expected, so we made a last minute booking for a canal cruise. We were not disappointed! Our guide was energetic, lively and funny, and shared lots of details about Amsterdam life and of the canals in general. Obviously there were key things they are told to discuss, but she fielded all of our off-the-cuff questions really well. The reason I have 4 stars instead of 5 was because our arrival experience at the dock was haphazard and unprofessional. There are several companies with boats on the same dock, plus flagship Amsterdam offers different types of cruises, so it gets disorganised used fast. The lack of proper signage contributed to this issue. They clearly have college students needing summer jobs managing the dock but they didn’t communicate well at all, and a lot of times were busy laughing and chatting amongst themselves to notice that people were standing in the wrong lines, there were line jumpers and just general confusion. I’d say to anyone looking to book: arrive decently early and don’t t be afraid to double check the directions you’re given by the staff, and ask questions. And once you’re aboard, relax and enjoy! All of that arrival messiness was forgotten by the loveliness of the cruise and our guide. So generally, a win! Especially for a last minute booking!
