So much fun. Definitely a great way to learn more about the local traditions. Olga and Anna were great. We had a ton of fun and look forward to making Pastel de Nata at home.

Funchal hands on cookery class.

We had fun baking. Unfortunately, the tables were a bit too small for two people to work on.

Cosy place with s really good environment. We asked for a mocha and it was 4.25 each. Really good price. But when we tried it, it tasted like a flat white. I don't know if they didn't do it properly, it had not much chocolate or what, but it was such a disappointment. Good looks love though, even though we didn't tried it this time.

Really well-organized baking workshop. You also learn a bit about the history of pastel de nata. Highly recommended.

It was a lovely experience! I especially loved the vegetarian breakfast. everything was fresh and delicious! The staff so nice! We deducted one star because the desserts/pastry were a real disappointment. We tried the tiramisu and the red velvet cake, and unfortunately, both were quite bad. That said, for breakfast, it was an excellent experience overall.

Essence Patisserie is a delightful gem nestled conveniently in the heart of Dundrum Village, making it the perfect spot to take a break from your shopping escapades at the old Dundrum shopping centre. While the presentation of their food may appear simple, the flavours are nothing short of spectacular. The quality of the meat, cheese, and sandwich fillings truly shines through, offering a culinary experience that is sure to delight your taste buds. What truly sets Essence Patisserie apart is their exceptional service. The staff here are not only lightning-fast but also incredibly accommodating and understanding. During my visit, they went above and beyond to assist my disabled relative, displaying remarkable patience and consideration. This level of care and attention to detail truly sets Essence Patisserie apart and makes it a must-visit coffee shop in Dundrum. A genuine hidden treasure waiting to be discovered.
