I did the Everest Base Camp trek in December 2024, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. We were a group of seven adventurers from different countries. Two of our team members unfortunately fell ill in Dingboche and had to return by helicopter. But the remaining five of us pushed our limits and successfully reached the base of the highest mountain in the world - it was truly unforgettable. After multiple rounds of research to find the right tour operator, we chose to trek with Ace the Himalaya, and I can’t recommend them enough. From the smooth booking process and informative pre-trip meeting to the actual trek, everything was handled with professionalism and care. Our guides were incredibly knowledgeable, the porters were humble and hardworking, and the entire experience felt safe and well-organized throughout. We had an absolute blast, and the farewell dinner before our departure was the perfect way to wrap up this life-changing journey.

One must do this trek to see the raw beauty of the lofty Himalayas. Enjoyed every moment of our 11 days trek. We started our trek from Phaphlu as flights to Lukla were cancelled due to bad weather. We returned from Lukla. It was almost 200 Kms plus round trip. Will always pride the efforts. We took 3 days trek to reach Lukla from Phaphlu. It took forever one day to reach Phaphlu from Kathmandu by road. While returning we took just two days reach Lukla from Gorekshep.

Fantastic trek to begin and never end!! It was awesome experience with my friends Rabi and Praveen reaching the summit of EBC. Would recommend to everyone to complete this trek once in a lifetime. It's worth it but must train ya. 😊😊

Usually eight days of hiking will get you to Everest Base Camp. What a journey it is and if you get the chance I wouldn't hesitate to book this trip. A wonderful experience and one that will stay with me forever.

The EBC trek is moderately hard. The altitude is no joke and best to come into this trek with really good cardio. I admit I came on this trek on impulse when my friend asked if I wanted to join her. She loves hiking, I don't but the allure of trekking through the Himalayas enticed me. Magnificent views along the way. Be mindful of the locals and know that tea houses are really basic. Water is not sanitary and must be treated. You'll be far away from the comforts of home so be prepared. Everything is carried by man or animal up here. The Nepalese are tough people to live in the harsh mountain conditions. Mad respect for them.
