Lovely tourist area and the ladies here are so kind when helping dress you in kimono. They have lots of sizes available so it's very accessible. My husband is 200cm and was able to participate! The staff speak enough English so there is no confusion and took lots of pictures of us :)

We had an incredible time. Being nestled away in the mountains of Miyajima gives the whole experience a truly authentic feel. Every step of the tea ceremony experience feels carefully tailored, and everything was explained clearly in English so we were able to understand perfectly. We also had an excellent time with the calligraphy, and everyone was very patient as we wobbled our way through some basic kanji.

Happened to walk across this place and was kindly greeted by a man who showed us inside! He told us an amazing story of the temple and explained what experiences they offer, it was so tempting we just had to! Was an amazing experience and will stay in our memories forever. The staff were incredible and i really recommend coming!

I did the kimono and calligraphy class and it was awesome. The women there were very friendly and explained everything thoroughly. They let you choose your own kimono and accessories before helping you learn the art and history of Japanese calligraphy. I really enjoyed this experience and highly recommend.

Today, I finally lived out my long-awaited dream of wearing a beautiful Kimono in Japan! I was thrilled to book this experience and it exceeded all my expectations. The staff was incredibly nice and the environment was clean and well-organized. We had the opportunity to choose our own Kimono and obi, participate in a Japanese tea ceremony, try calligraphy, and make our own Omamori lucky charms. The entire experience was amazing, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. It was definitely worth it! One tip: try to make a 10 am reservation if available, so you have more time to tour Miyajima. We only had the 1 pm option, which rushed the schedule a bit. Overall, I highly recommend this experience! Thanks to the staff!
