Lovely park, has everything for a nice family day out. Lovely walks, tarmac for buggies, kids can use scooters, can see a load of farm animals to keep the kids entertained whilst walking, fantastic playground. Nice coffee shop to with lunch and cakes

Fantastic day out within the well looked after grounds of this historic home. It is home to a large playground which the children enjoyed and took full advantage of before we enjoyed lunch in the coffee shop beside the main house. Behind the house is the walled garden which leads to the stables and on to a large number of penned areas that house unusual varieties of what would be considered farm animals. Definitely an interesting tour. After we to a walk through the gardens to find further sheep and a herd of deer. Very pleasant walk indeed.

The Taste of Fingal was taking place today when I visited Newbridge Park. There is so much going on making it a fantastic family day out ! Lots of happening with showjumping and horse and carriage competitions running at both times. There was live music playing in two different areas within the park. You could visit the farm and see the various farm animals. There was a children's play area with bouncy castles and other activities geared for the little ones. I lost count of the number of food offerings with probably over 50 providers serving a vast and varied array of food options. Many companies were supporting this event with their stalls fully staffed, giving you information on their services and offerings. Fingal Country Council had a fully staffed marquee where they were advising on all matters to do with residents living in the general Fingal area. Lots of free products have been handed out during the day. This is a very well organised event with traffic management and plenty of people to control both the traffic and crowd movement at this event . A big shout out for Fingal County Council to organise such a big event that supports the population of Fingal.
