An excellent way to see the city skyline both at night and by day. We paid a little extra for a sunset ticket, which included a return the next morning. Great value. The roof top cafe coffee prices were acceptable too. Enjoyed both visits immensely. A beautiful building with an interesting history.

One of New York City’s most iconic and vibrant destinations, and it truly lives up to that reputation. Visitors love the lively atmosphere, beautiful architecture, and the mix of history, culture, shopping, and dining all in one place. Whether visiting during the holidays or any time of year, the energy is unforgettable, the surroundings are stunning, and it’s a must-see stop that captures the spirit of the city.

Rockefeller Center is an iconic and breathtaking destination. The overall experience was truly memorable and inspiring. During the Christmas season, the area becomes quite crowded, particularly with visitors gathering to see the famous tree. The 2025 Christmas Tree welcoming 2026 was majestic, beautifully illuminated, and absolutely stunning. Experiencing such a timeless holiday tradition was truly special, and I genuinely loved every moment of the visit. Si deseas una versión un poco más corta o aún más formal, con gusto la adapto.

Rockefeller Center is one of those places that truly captures the spirit of New York. The architecture, constant movement, and energy make it exciting at any time of day. In winter, the famous ice rink adds a special magic to the area — skating here feels like a classic New York moment straight out of a movie. If you’re visiting the city during the colder months, skating at the rink is an absolute must.

I traveled with a lot of hope to see the tree lighting ceremony at Rockefeller Center, but it was a big disappointment. The official website said we should arrive no later than 2:00 pm to get a good spot on the sidewalk. We arrived at 12:00 pm to make sure we had a good view. However, around 2:50 pm the police came and told everyone to move because we had to go through a security checkpoint. This created a huge problem. We had to stand for two more hours, pressed together on the sidewalk, waiting to pass the security line. After that, we ended up very far from the tree, where we couldn’t even hear the artists. They say the event is free, and yes, it is, but the best areas are saved for guests and the press. Regular visitors are pushed to any other spot that is not close to the tree. In the end, we spent more than seven hours standing in the cold, without water because they don’t allow liquids, and with no bathrooms available. It was really uncomfortable, and I don’t recommend this event. Instead, I recommend the Bryant Park tree lighting. We sat in the front row without paying anything. The Wall Street tree lighting was also much better; they had artists, free hot chocolate, and even a big screen for people who were farther away.
