Eco-Friendly Highland Tour Showcases Scotland’s Iconic Landscapes and Historic Routes

A new two-day eco-conscious tour from Edinburgh is offering travelers a sustainable way to experience some of Scotland’s most celebrated Highland landscapes. The journey combines low-impact travel principles with carefully planned stops at historic sites, scenic viewpoints, and cultural landmarks across the country.

The route begins in the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, where travelers pass through tranquil scenery including Killin and the Dochart Falls before continuing into the misty expanse of Rannoch Moor. The journey then leads through the dramatic valley of Glencoe, widely regarded as one of the most visually striking and historically significant landscapes in Scotland.

Travelers enjoy a lunch stop in Fort William before continuing toward the iconic Glenfinnan Viaduct, a landmark made famous by its cinematic appearances. The route also includes a visit to the Commando Memorial, offering sweeping views of Ben Nevis, before continuing along the shores of Loch Ness toward Inverness.

The first day concludes in Inverness, where guests settle into the Highland capital for an overnight stay.
