My wife and I sampled the 1 hour gentle giants watch and learn tour yesterday. Our guide was 'Tony' the bad boy. Lol. He actually was a very good guy who informed us of the history of the elephants sheltering with them. It was lovely to see them roam freely through the woods and visit the river as and when they wanted allowing them to bathe and remove dirt and mud. We had no physical interaction with the elephants which is how it should be. We just watched and were enchanted by these beautiful animals. A must visit if you are in the area to ensure funds flow into the project. This is to see the elephants cared for into their old age.

Truly unforgettable! The Ethical Elephant Sanctuary was an amazing experience and absolutely worth the price. The rescued elephants are treated with real respect — no riding, no forcing, only what they willingly want to do. We fed them bananas, walked with one to a stream, watched her bathe, and could gently splash water on her. Such a beautiful moment in the Thai heat. The guides were incredibly friendly, shared lots of interesting information, answered all our questions, and created a very warm atmosphere. The food was delicious, and we could safely get very close to the elephants for photos. A heartfelt, respectful, and unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

We had a great time with our friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. The elephants seem happy and well cared for. The waterfall is well worth the time, a lovely refreshing swim.
