Really enjoyed the opportunity to see amazing street art in out-of-the-way parts of the city we would never have found on our own. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, with personal insights onto many of the artists and their works.
It was so interesting not only to get to see many beautiful pieces of art bat learn a lot about Streetart in general and the history and details of the Lisbon Streetart...and about details of local and regional politics - thanks to our well informed and intelligent guide who's name I forgot because I barely heard it because he was such a fast speaker! My friends and I did a private 3 hour tour with Ben which ended with doing spray painting art on tote bags. Ben, an artist himself, was super knowledgeable about the Lisbon art scene and seemed passionate about the movement despite being relatively new to Portugal. Despite the heat and hilly walking, we laughed, enjoyed some Cokes and discovered new parts of Lisbon in an enjoyable afternoon.
