Leandro Fernandes is the best private tour guide in Guimaraes. He gave my wife and I a wonderful 3-hour private tour of the Old Town area in Guimaraes. He was both a very personal and passionate about the tour, the history of the town, and the history of Portugal. He brought to life the last thousand plus years of History of Portugal and the influence of Portugal has had on the world. A trip to Giamaraes is not complete without a private tour by Leandro.
