Our lunch at Fruit Gallery was a highlight, with fresh and lovingly prepared dishes—I particularly loved the Salad Wrap and Hand Over smoothie! In my opinion, the absolute best way to see a town is with a local. Unfortunately, I don't know a local in every city, so the second best way is to find a tour headed by a local. Anthony, the owner and main guide of Venice Bike Tours, provides that second-best tour. He knows the area (he grew up here) , the Venice artists (and he says "hello" as they pass) and the safest ways to get around on the bikes. I definitely recommend Anthony if you really want to get to know Venice's history and culture. He truly knows what makes the area great and he's going to show you! The biking is easy and the ocean breeze will keep you cool. I'd definitely do this tour again!
