We got our cabin originally a number of years ago and up to recently had no issues. We had to get new doors this year due to the fact the old ones had become warn and leaking over time. We paid 450 for new doors but less than 6 months later the left side of the frame has dropped and the the door will no longer engage with the frame. I asked the team to come and repair it but they are making all sorts of ridiculous claims that the doors have expanded more than 10mm and have pushed up the whole cabin wall that has been in place for years. They claim to doors expanded so much because we did not paint them properly, and want to charge me 150 callout to try to repair it. Anyone can see looking at the doors that one side of the frame has dropped, and you dont need to be a cabin expert to see it. Really disappointing and quite a patronising response to be honest. It seems in order to repair it, all that is needed is to remove that side of the frame and refit it more securely, which I will get done, but by someone else. Coppola need to work on their after sales and customer service, but clearly nit a priority for them.
I bought my cabin less than 10 months ago and it’s already leaking. When the technician came out, he tried to blame the issue on the varnish — even though it was leaking well before it was ever varnished, and it’s still leaking after. The customer service has been absolutely terrible; once they got the sale, there’s been no help or accountability. I definitely would not recommend this company to anyone! (Edited - reply to Harry Laanisto) I called one month after all work was completed and it was still leaking, not even 4 weeks old. Your guy came out and tried to fix it, winter came around and it leaked again, your staff did not even try to resolve it, his excuse was the way my cabin is facing & nothing about silicone. Poor communication and lack of knowledge
I bought a cabin from Harry just coming up on a year ago now. We had the company assemble for us and the employees were super nice and friendly. These cabins are cheaper than most others out there after looking around for a long time. The reason they are cheaper is because the quality of the windows, doors, hinged and handles are all really poor quality. The door blew off less than 2 weeks after being installed (it wasn’t even a storm) and I contacted Harry and told him what had happened. I got an email back saying that will be €450. My recommendation would be to save up an extra bit and buy one with better quality windows and doors. Another recommendation would be if you’re going to spend anytime inside the cabin it would definitely need to be insulated as it is a sauna when it’s warm and very cold in winter.
We are 100% happy with our cabin. After 9 years we haven't had one problem with it. The workers were excellent and professional. We have weatherproofed it three times using the treatment from Coppola, it's expensive and the rain just runs off it, great stuff. Our cabin is like new. Just finished treating it and thought I would leave a review.
Fantastic job from start to finish. Professional, efficient, courteous and very hard working installations guys. The finished article is better than we expected and quality of workmanship, build and fittings are outstanding. I spent a lot of time and effort to find the right cabin with good value for money and all my expectations have been exceeded by Harry and his team at Coppola Cabins. Customer service, committment and attention to detail are hard to find in today's fast moving world but I would recommend you sit back and watch some real experts at work! Well done all at Coppola.
