The museum was surprisingly great. We visited on Sunday and ticket cost us 1€.The Rubens collection is awesom, but Leonardo da Vinci mastepiece blow my mind. I didnt like that they cover all canvases with glass,so it was strange light reflection when you watch the pieces, but, anyway, you have to visit this great musem.

The art gallery was fantastic! 🎨 It’s only €1 on Sundays, which is such a great deal. I recommend buying your ticket online to skip the waiting line. Also, make sure to bring €2 in cash to store your bags — totally worth it!

I was lucky to visit on a Sunday when the entrance fee was only 1 euro. Before entering, you need to store your bag, so make sure to have some coins ready. You can choose to leave your coat in a locker or at the staffed coat check — and you know, the lockers are free. There are so many artworks on display that you could easily spend more than two hours exploring if you want to appreciate them fully. Everything is truly beautiful, so if you have the chance to visit, make sure to set aside enough time to slowly enjoy the exhibits.

it was a Sunday so number one it only cost one euro for anybody to come, which I think is a great thing, especially because most things are closed on Sunday when we went to the desk older gentleman was so helpful. I was really overwhelmed with gratitude that he was there to help me get a cab to go back to my hotel to explain where things were so it was very nice. To see the people care about the people that come to their workplace and make them feel comfortable The art is I must see gallery. It has everything you could possibly want to see the major Artist and minor Artist and they had a great special exhibit. Every picture tells the story which I really enjoyed they have a cafeteria. They have a coat room. They have tours in English if you check the website This is a must on your list when you’re in Munich

An impressive museum with a nice collection of art spanning the last five centuries. The downstairs gallery includes a few pieces from Van Gogh and other recognizable names. The rotating exhibit is currently about storytelling through paintings and focuses more on religious paintings, which is interesting. Definitely a great spot to see some good art and cool off on a hot day.
