Anna was a fantastic guide. She taught us so much about the history of Neuschwanstein Castle. It was a scenic trip out there , getting to see outside of Munich was lovely. The tour made it such an easy way to get to the castle . Well worth it

I booked the Bavarian beer and food evening tour with Mike and it was a pleasant surprise. He welcomed us with a smile and a beer. After a brief introduction, we started exploring the old town area with him as he talked about numerous stories. The short beer tasting and museum visit were interesting, I might just go back by myself for a proper visit. We finished the tour in a restaurant with a beer of our choice and plates of food to share, there was more than enough for everyone. I am satisfied with the visit and would recommend it to tourists looking for an evening of discovery. Thank you Mike!

Five stars to our guide Jake! The trip to Neuschwanstein castle was awesome. Very welcoming, informative and well organised guided tour. Cannot recommend enough! Autumn (mid-October) was a perfect time to visit the castle, beautiful scenery and not so packed with people. Prepare yourself for a hard but fun climb to the castle or take a bus or horse carriage ride to the top. Thank you Radius tours and Jake!

Just wow! I’m truly at a loss for words after our experience in Salzburg. From start to finish, this tour exceeded every expectation. Our guide, Elisabeth, was simply outstanding—warm, witty, and incredibly knowledgeable. She brought the city’s history to life during our train ride and throughout the day, making the journey both educational and fun. (After 25 tours, I can confidently say she’s the best guide I’ve ever had!) From The Sound of Music filming locations to Mozart’s birthplace, the Cathedral, Fortress, and Cemetery, every stop was rich in history and charm. The entire experience felt like stepping back in time to explore this stunning Baroque-style city. It’s one of those places that captures your heart—you’ll immediately start planning your return before the day is even over. And then there’s the food and beer—absolutely world-class! The Stiegl Beer Haus serves fantastic meals paired with a breathtaking view of the city. Don’t miss the Mozart Chocolate Balls (a sweet tribute to the maestro himself) or the legendary Sacher Torte, which might just be the most delightful bite of cake you’ll ever taste. I could go on for hours about this tour and about Elisabeth’s expertise and kindness, but instead, I’ll just say this: book the flight and the tour—you’ll be so glad you did!

The Third Reich tour is a perfect choice for “The second day in Munich” excursion. Our tour guide Michael was well organized and had a deep knowledge of the subject. He managed to present the sensitive topic in a thought provoking and nonjudgmental way. The day of the tour was the last Saturday of the OctoberFest (crowded!!!) and at some point, it started raining. Michael navigated us through the challenges with ease and good humor. Thank you, Michael! I think this tour should be taken to enrich one’s experience of Munich and not to replace a typical city tour. (We also had a great experience with Radius regular walking city tour during our previous visit to Munich). I did appreciated the support of the Radius Tours staff. I received reminders about the activity. When I realized that we were running late, I called the support number and received immediate and clear answers to my questions and much needed reassurance that we would not miss the tour. Overall, the Radius Tours do a great job with selecting their guides, they offer a variety of tours, and they have a conveniently located and well-staffed office.
