World Famous for a reason. Not much else exists like this on earth. Multiple leveled tiered waterfalls with many pools and climbing allowed everywhere. The river empties into the ocean with a beautiful beach and brackish clear cool and warm water mingling. Many areas to chill and plenty of shade. Even has Devon House ice cream!!! A treat and must do in Ocho Rios.

This was great fun! Climbing the waterfall was one of the highlights of our trip and I'd thoroughly recommend. The falls are really pretty and well worth a visit even if you don't want to climb them.

Dunns River Falls is absolutely amazing. My parents took my siblings and I when we were kids, but I don’t really remember the experience. Being able to climb the waterfall as an adult with my wife was a great time. The rocks are extremely slippery. I definitely recommend wearing water shoes, listening to your guide, walking carefully, and holding hands with others. But the experience and views are unmatched. And on a hot day, the splash of the water from the waterfalls feels refreshing. Bring a waterproof phone case too so you can take pictures and videos to capture the great moments.

Dunn’s River Falls is truly a must-experience excursion when visiting Jamaica. The entry fee does vary significantly between residents and non-residents, but even so, the experience is well worth it. The falls themselves are beautiful and unique, and being able to enjoy both the cascading water and the beach makes this stop special. One important thing to note: there is a long walk. Going down is fairly easy, but the walk back up—from the beach to the parking area...is intense and will definitely get your heart rate up. If you’re unfit, carrying lots of bags, or traveling with a large family or young children who require extra items, this may be challenging. The walk back is no joke. The facility itself is well equipped. There are lockers, plenty of changing rooms, food available on site (though I didn’t try it), and guides if you want a more structured experience. I didn’t use a guide, but they are available and add to the overall vibe for those who want it. Overall, this is an iconic Jamaican attraction...beautiful, memorable, and worth doing at least once. Just come prepared, pack light, and wear comfortable footwear.

It’s a neat place. Expensive booking through the tour places but worth seeing. Definitely not for everyone, it takes some physical effort. Wear footwear, preferably water shoes. Guides are very helpful getting you up the falls.
