The hurricane really destroyed alot and you can still see that people are trying to pick up the pieces. The tubing experience was fun, more so because it was a big group. They gave us out helmets and life jacket, they also ensured that they told us the rules and guidelines before we even entered the water. The two guides were very pleasant and they spoke about the area as we headed downstream. The river is alot lower than it used to be and many areas that used to be " spots" to see, are now gone because of the hurricane. The guides did their best to make the activities worth while and had little activities for us to do. My group of 11 was split in two and after the tubing we rowed to the sea straight to shore. The fee was 6000 per person and you have to make a reservation. The drive to the area was easy. I do hope things will get back to normal soon, I'd love to experience this again in the future

We had an amazing time! Garrick picked us up on time, super friendly, clean van, and great A/C. Our guide Andre made the tubing and rafting fun, safe, and informative. The river was beautiful and the beach at the end was a great place to relax. On the way back, we stopped for local food, hands down the best BBQ chicken I’ve ever had. Highly recommend River Rapids Jamaica for a fun and memorable adventure!
