The place is incredible! The tour departs from Holbox. You catch your own food so they can prepare the ceviche. Weather permitting, snorkeling is available. Be prepared to avoid seasickness, as it's very likely to happen while fishing. Beer, fruit, and soft drinks are sold on-site; payment is cash only.

Anyone said paradise ?

Great tour to go and snorkeling, you can see Sting rays , sea turtles and different types of tropical fishes .

If you take a boat from Holbox along the northern coast about 45 km to the east, you will reach Cabo Catoche – the cape of Isla Holbox at the passage from the Gulf of Mexico to the Carribean Sea. This island is a protected area and the sands are an important hatchery for sea turtles and a host of bird species. This only partially inhabited spot not only has pristine beaches and a coral reef, but also ruins with an interesting history. Also, Cabo Catoche was the first place where the Spanish landed after leaving from Cuba in 1517. At the “Cocalito de Gaby” you can enjoy a delicious ceviche, relax in the hammocks under coconut trees and take a stroll along the beach. A truly paradisal spot worth visiting!

Love it!
