For the price tag, we were significantly underwhelmed. I’ve been to many tango shows in BA, and there are more authentic shows in San Telmo, at half the price. The Faena Hotel is nice, however the show is so-so. Even though the show was “open bar,” we still received a bill for our drinks at the end of the night. After a long discussion, they cleared the charges.
This is a fantastic show. The whole evening is very well organised from hotel pick up to drop off. The dinner is very good and the wine is good and constantly topped up. However the best part of the dancing. The entertainers and first class professionals. It is quite expensive but when you see the dancers you will appreciate why and it is worth every penny
Rojo Tango located in the achingly stylish Faena Hotel is a beautifully produced show in an intimate, elegant setting. The dancers are talented, the live music is excellent, and the overall experience feels polished and professional. It’s a great way to enjoy a classic part of Argentine culture in a stylish venue. Definitely worth seeing while in Buenos Aires. Why not combine with a private Tango lesson beforehand it was great fun and you will never forget those 8 steps.
