Embark on a sophisticated evening of flavor, culture, and tradition as you discover why Argentine wines are celebrated around the world. Begin your experience at one of Buenos Aires’ most distinguished wineries, where an expert sommelier will guide you through a 2.5-hour tasting journey showcasing Argentina’s finest wine regions. Learn the art of wine appreciation as you explore the aromas, textures, and personalities of three iconic varietals—Torrontés, Malbec, and Merlot—each representing a distinct region of the country. From the cool, crisp wines of Patagonia-Río Negro to the rich Malbecs of Mendoza’s Valle de Uco, and the aromatic Torrontés of La Rioja, every glass tells the story of Argentina’s diverse terroirs. Complementing the wines, enjoy regional gourmet snacks such as empanadas salteñas, mushroom crostini, and veal skewers, perfectly paired to enhance each tasting and elevate your sensory experience.
For those seeking to extend their evening, opt for the Dinner and Tango Show upgrade at El Querandí, a historic venue renowned for its intimate atmosphere and passionate performances. Gustavo was the best host! Learned so much!!! Ask about the Chilean red wine and Chilean Pisco!
Julie

Wine tasting with Gustavo was very nice and informative. We got 5 tastings with good information about each wine, and about wine production in Argentina in general. Highly recommend wine tasting with Gustavo!

Incredible experience! The owner is very knowledgeable and kind. We learned so much about the history and production of wine. I really enjoyed this experience and would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Buenos Aires. We tried five wines ranging from Torrontes white wine to Cabernet. I didn’t know anything about wines before, but now I feel like I can better understand main differences and know what makes a wine good quality. During the experience, we were able to ask questions and had all of our questions answered. The host also served us cheese, crackers, and olives to accompany the wine. Even if you don’t speak Spanish, the experience is very accessible. We were a mixed group of Spanish, Portuguese, and English speakers and everyone was able to have a wonderful time. I would 100% recommend visiting and spending some time here during your time in Argentina. The shop is located in a very nice area in San Telmo with a lovely ambiance!

I did a wine tasting experience here with Gustavo and would highly recommend! He was very warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. I tried 6 different wines here with some cheese, salami, and olives and it was an amazing experience (also at a much more reasonable price than what you pay for a tasting in Palermo). Definitely stop by here to learn about Argentina wines if you get a chance!

Wonderful wine shop in a great area for antique shopping. Gustavo, the owner, is passionate about the wines and welcomed us into the shop. He helped us with picking out a bottle of Argentinian wine - difficult with so many good ones to chose from! He’s got a lovely tasting room and an excellent selection. We opened it up right there for a few glasses and it was fantastic. So glad we stopped in! :)
