Step aboard for an approximately 2-hour long-tail boat tour through the canals of Thonburi, Bangkok’s lesser-known but deeply authentic side. Cruise past stilt houses, waving locals, and hidden temples, stopping at the charming riverside community of Khlong Bang Luang, home to the famous Artist’s House. Along the way, you’ll pass by Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen, which houses Bangkok’s largest Buddha, providing a fascinating glimpse into the city’s spiritual heritage. This tour offers a unique perspective on Bangkok, showcasing its humble wooden homes perched above the water and the daily lives of those who live along the canals.
Unlike the bustling tourist spots, this journey reveals the quieter, more traditional side of Bangkok and its rich cultural history. During the tour, there may be a short wait at one of the water locks that regulate canal levels, an authentic part of the canal experience and beyond the control of the tour operators. Designed for a maximum of 12 people per boat, this intimate tour ensures a personalized experience, allowing you to fully appreciate the contrasts between modern Bangkok and its serene waterways, while gaining insight into the local way of life.

This was a fantastic 3 hour tour. Our guide, Khun Kin, was brilliant, very knowledgeable and also great with our 6 yr old son. The stops were interesting and we liked how flexible we could be with timings. We also appreciated that the company were able to postpone and reschedule our trip at the last minute due to Illness. All round a great, family-friendly way to see a different side of the city.

Booked and was onboard within 90 minutes through WhatsApp. 2 adults, 3 kids and had the boat to ourselves. Would highly recommend to see a different side to Bangkok, kids had fun feeding the fish too. 👏🏻

They try to rip of tourists, wanted 2000 Baht for a private boat hire for 90mins. This should be 600-750 tops. In the end used the local ferry at 50 bahts. They get tiktok drivers to bring you here, be aware.

My brother and I did the three hour private tour with TukTuk(our guides name) and it was fantastic! Great communication when scheduling. They take the extra step in details. I sprained my ankle so I had to walk very slowly but I was never rushed and our guide supported (physically with steps, ramps, etc) me through the tour. She was very considerate. We saw beautiful temples, a handful of water monitors (local reptile), the Artist house (where we got to browse the art stores and feed the fish) and visited the floating market! Our guide showed us all the good snacks and even bought several things for us to try. We bought pad Thai, papaya salad, a variety of small snacks and got to sit down and enjoy a meal together. We asked our guide questions about living in Thailand and it was just great to be able to chat with a local. On a hot sunny day, the breeze on the boat and scenery was so refreshing. The private tour is well worth it. We got to take as much time in an area as we wanted and experienced a more personal relationship with our guide. We ended up going way over time (sorry!) but was never once rushed. Our total time ended up being 4.5 hours. I really appreciate the extra time she spent with us and the quality of it. Plus she helped us take great pictures. I’m very happy that I reached out and texted this company. One of the better spontaneous decisions I’ve made. Thank you guys again! And THANK YOU TukTuk!

So surprised by how great this trip was! We took our three kids for the half day afternoon tour. Can’t recommend Noi our guide enough she educated us all and had the kids interested too.
