Thiago is the best I want to adopt him. His knowledge of the Portuguese wine region is beyond words I'm already ready organizing a family trip to come back and feast on Thiago's knowledge of wines. Please if you find yourself in Lisbon come to this wine tasting with Thiago. Thiago is the best I consider him as though he is my son! 😂

Tiago was excellent!, it was an amazing experience totally recommend it, we learned a couple of things and we have been to wineries everywhere in the USA, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain. Thank you Tiago for your time and knowledge.

Ironically, the low-rated reviews made me want to visit this place. The premium wine tasting costs €85 with an online reservation, but walking in was €95. I assume the extra charge was because I wasn’t part of a group, but paying the additional €10 ended up feeling worth it. They offered three types of local olive oil, a wide range of regional ham and cheese, and small-batch local wines. I hadn’t eaten dinner beforehand, but the amount of food they served was more than enough. The portions of cheese and ham were so generous that I regretted leaving some behind. My companion doesn’t enjoy Port wine, so we asked to switch to red wine, and they kindly accommodated the request. The only minor downside was that English isn’t my first language, and after the third glass, the alcohol made it harder to follow the explanations. Obviously, that’s not the venue’s fault. If you want a solid introduction to premium Portuguese wine, I recommend visiting this place.

We booked Lisbon Winery based upon the strong recommendation of travel author Rick Steves. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of what we usually expect from Rick's suggestions. Our disappointment was not with the charcuterie board or the wines poured for us, which were all delicious and generously served. Instead, we felt that the service we received was cool and unfriendly to an unacceptable degree. The food and wine were all presented with a well-rehearsed script, but we found it difficult to ask questions or learn more about what was given to us. Our server seemed disinterested and tried to disengage with us at the earliest opportunity. We believe that we were friendly and relaxed, so I'm not sure why we were treated this way. We simply wanted to learn a little more and expected that the staff would be happy to share their love of Portuguese food and wine. Our visit was in the afternoon and there were only a few other customers present, so it was hardly a busy environment. In fact, our server seemed to enjoy chatting with another couple and he spent far more time with them. We also experienced a woman come into the Winery about half-way through our visit who brought a barking dog with them into the space where we were eating and drinking. The staff seemed to know her, and they chatted with her for about 10 or 15 minutes before the woman and her dog left. By the time we finished, we left feeling that the staff of Lisbon Winery couldn't have cared less about our experience and wishing we had spent our time differently.

What a lovely place! It’s stylish but relaxed, and the staff is super friendly and speak great English. They explain everything clearly and can choose wines for you based on your preferences — and the recommendations were spot on for me. Do yourself a favour and get the cheese/meat platter. It’s huge — listed for 2 people, but perfect for 3, and you could even share it with 4 if you’re on a budget. The wines were reasonably priced and the recommended ones didn’t break the bank. I’ll definitely return the next time I’m in Lisbon. Thank you, and all the best to your business — it’s clear you take pride in what you do.
