An absolutely amazing walking tour. Our fabulous tour guide Megan made the history and people of Manchester come to life - I really recommend doing the tour with her! We had such a great experience on this walking tour! This is our first time being in Manchester and we did the walking tour on our second full day of being in the city. Dani was extremely welcoming to us, humorous, and very knowledgeable about the city’s history - business, architecture, music, and many other topics. I’m glad we did this early on in our visit so that we have had this knowledge passed onto us as well as check out some of Dani’s recommendations!
Stayed in Manchester for 1 day waiting for the flight back home in the evening. This walking tour was the perfect activity for me as I had no plans but had spare time to spend. Dani was an amazing tour guide explaining the city's rich history with a mix of good humour and warm interaction with everyone. He was very accommodating and was keen for questions too. I joined the tour with minimal expectations but within 2 hours, I was thoroughly impressed by the history and culture that Manchester has thanks to this tour. Highly recommend visitors and even locals to give this a try - bound to give you surprises about the city you never were aware of.
Great fun. We walked about 6000 steps. Time flew by and we learnt a lot. Josh was extremely knowledgeable and funny. He gave us an immense amount of information which you would think might be monotonous however it was extremely captivating. He read the group well and made it interactive. We have been on a few tours before but Joshes passion really elevates the experience. Thanks Josh for the Madchester experience
Terrific walking tour with a very engaging guide. Mike (Michael) spent a short amount of time at the beginning of the tour to get to know interests across the group and took care to tailor information and respond to questions to suit everyone's interests. This tour provides a really good grasp of the city and mix of science, music, wartime and earlier history. A real highlight of Manchester visit.
