We did the 20:00 Tour on Thursday 13/11/25 and it was fantastic! It was also a big group for a weekday. Our guide through the ghostly streets of York was the incredible Deathly Davina, she was in character from the start and the theatrical stroy telling and safety points were excellent. There were a few external interferences that were dealt with seamlessly and comicly. I Highly recommend this tour to anyone. We will be back again. Thank you.
I finally got the opportunity to go on one of the Deathly Dark tours of York last night. I first discovered Dorian during lockdown, when he and Mrs Deathly did some virtual tours, which I watched multiple times, so it was a nice surprise that Dorian was one of our guides last night, along with Dalton. I was not disappointed, they were both engaging, entertaining and informative. I appreciated their dark humour as well. I look forward to attending another one of the tours next time I’m in York, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. Thank you for a great experience!
Had a brilliant experience on the Deathly Dark tour! Me and my family had a little holiday in Yorkshire and really wanted to go on a ghost tour. We ended up with Dante as our tour guide and he was incredible! We couldn’t understand how he’d managed to learn all the information and put on such a great performance, not slipping up once. Mindblown! It was a perfect mix of slightly scary but also funny. Would definitely recommend! 🙌
I had an absolutely amazing tour with Davina, from the meeting point to the very end she was on point. She was knowledgeable with a dry sense of humour. I've been on several Deathly Dark tours and each one is different and unique. I fully intend to book in again because I want to experience each guide at least once!
I don’t think I’ve laughed that much in 90 minutes in my life. Dafydd was an absolute legend, a brilliant actor and outrageously funny. We hung on his every word. Absolutely worth it and easily the highlight of my trip to York, do this tour people, it's 1000% worth it. We're going to miss the lad. Nijman party of two, signing off!
