Depart Edinburgh and travel north through Scotland’s Central Belt to Luss on Loch Lomond. Cross the ‘Rest and be Thankful’ pass to Inveraray, then visit Dunadd Fort and Kilmartin before reaching Oban for your first night.
Day 2: Explore Glencoe, Glenfinnan Viaduct, Fort William (Ben Nevis distillery or Inverlochy Castle), Loch Ness, and Eilean Donan Castle.
Day 3: Tour Skye’s Trotternish Peninsula – Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock, Quiraing, Museum of Island Life, Cuillin Mountains, Kyle of Lochalsh, Plockton, and a seal spotting cruise (April–October).
