Our tour with Büşra was absolutely fantastic! From the very beginning, she impressed us with her deep knowledge and warm, friendly personality. Having a private tour made the experience even more special — it was relaxed, personalized, and so enjoyable from start to finish. We began by visiting the House of the Virgin Mary, a peaceful and spiritual place that Büşra explained beautifully, sharing both the historical and religious significance behind it. Then, we explored the ancient city of Ephesus, which was simply breathtaking. Walking through the marble streets and seeing the incredible ruins with Büşra’s insightful commentary really brought the site to life.
We booked a day excursion from the port of Kusadasi with Best Ephesus Tours thanks to the positive reviews. I must admit that I was a bit apprehensive considering our private tour was a third of the price of the same excursion if I had booked it as a group tour from the ship - and no credit card guarantee was requested. Completely unwarranted. the day in Ephesus was the highlight of our cruise. We were so lucky that Omer was our guide. Perfect English, completely attentive and constantly trying (and succeeding) in making sure we got the most of the day. He adjusted the itinerary on the go to avoid queues as much as possible meaning we had loads of time at our planned locations: House of the Virgin Mary, Ephesus and St. John's Basilica; plus a lovely quick lunch in a great inexpensive place in town. There’s nothing better than exploring Ephesus in a comfortable, air-conditioned VIP van with a wonderful tour guide!
