We spent 10 days in Sri Lanka together with Dan (Dinusha), that was our driver, but firstly he’s a very kind, peaceful and heart-warming person. Without him, our trip would not have been the same. We loved his suggestions about what to see, what to eat, what to do and about the best fruits in the country. We have tried many different experiences along the way, each different from the others. Some of them were very local experiences that we will never forget! Sri Lanka is an incredible place on Earth (food, people, nature, traditions)…and Dan makes it even more incredible!
My partner and I had a great experience with Sri Lanka Dream Tour! Communication was perfect from the first WhatsApp message, and we felt in safe hands right from the start. As we were in Sri Lanka for a friend’s wedding, our route wasn’t the usual tour — but they were super accommodating with our itinerary and odd timings. Upul picked us up from the airport, was in touch beforehand, and greeted us with a smile (and ice-cold water!) on arrival. Harsha was our driver for the rest of the trip — such a calm, kind presence who made us feel really looked after. Always on time (if not early), incredibly patient with our late-night wedding pickups, and we felt safe the entire time. I recently returned from a wonderful trip to Sri Lanka, and I couldn't be happier with my experience, all thanks to our amazing driver Thisen! We spent two weeks exploring the stunning island, and our driver was with us every step of the way, ensuring that our journey was both smooth and memorable. From the moment we arrived, our driver greeted us with a warm smile. Throughout our trip, he was always punctual and never kept us waiting, which was a huge relief, especially when we had early morning excursions planned. His reliability truly made our trip stress-free. Not only was our driver reliable, but he was also incredibly friendly and personable. He shared insights into local culture, recommended the best places to eat, and even taught us a few phrases in Sinhala, which added an extra layer of authenticity to our experience. It felt like we were traveling with a friend rather than just a driver. One of the things that stood out to us the most was his willingness to help. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, from arranging last-minute changes to our itinerary to helping us navigate the busy streets. His eagerness to assist us made us feel well taken care of throughout the entire trip. Overall, I can't recommend our driver enough. His professionalism, friendliness, and reliability truly enhanced our experience in Sri Lanka. Organising the tour with Sri Lanka Dream Tour was easy and the service proved to be really good. We had Maalaka as our driver, and we highly recommend him. Not only that he drove safely (for long hours at times), he is very pleasant, and also really knowledgeable and communicated with us frequently when we had a doubt about a place we visit or general interest about Sri Lanka and the life in it. The only advise would be to secure your own safaris, as the service we got through them in Yala was disappointing (and expensive). Thank you Maalaka!
Our 10 day trip with Sri Lanka Dream Tour and our driver Shantha was amazing! We really enjoyed our time and would not have had such a great, seamless experience without him. Shantha helped us plan our itinerary, gave restaurant and activity recommendations and was extremely helpful. He even welcomed us into his home for a tea and a snack! A highlight was the safari in Udawalawe, which he helped us book, and included lots of elephants and a delicious lunch. :) Highly recommend if you want to make the most of your time in Sri Lanka and have an enjoyable, stress-free holiday.
