Sheena was a terrific guide and our private full day "Island Tour on Mahe" was perfect. This is a fully customizable tour. We had several communications ahead of time picking out the sites we thought we wanted to see and getting her advice on how much we could do in the allotted time. Sheena picked us up at the cruise terminal (with our luggage) and gave us an excellent tour of Victoria. We then drove to Carana Beach where we could get photos of the beautiful beach with granite rocks. We enjoyed the drive along the coast to Beau Vallon Beach where we had time to swim and sun. We could set the schedule for the amount of time here. After, we drove through the island to a great view point overlooking Victoria and Eden Island. A stop at Anse Royale Beach for lunch (just OK) and a stroll on the sand. Then it was time to go. Sheena dropped us off at our accommodations near the airport. Sheena was a friendly, knowledgeable guide who gave us a great tour of Mahe. Can highly recommend her.
What a great way to spend the day! Kevin picked us up promptly at 9AM and started the tour. He was friendly and answered all our frequent and random questions about the Seychelles. We saw many beautiful beaches, swam in the gorgeous waters, went to the tea factory and the waterfall, walked through the market in Victoria and ended at the rum factory. Highly suggest this tour as a great way to see the entirety of Mahe
It was a pvt tour, so it was customisable. The beaches on the south were very beautiful! Great insights into the history and the different sights of the island. Sheena was great, and very accomodating.. and took us to some great viewpoints which made for great photography. Good recommendation for (local cuisine) lunch and afternoon cocktails!
An absolute must if you visit!! Incredible Guide! I did the Island tour and the Rockpool Hike and both days were easily my favorite days on the island! On the island tour Sheena made wonderful recommendations on food, beaches, hikes, shops, activities etc. Basically anything you might want to do on this beautiful island: She knows the perfect spot! The Rockpool hike was full of outstanding views and photos, the beauty of this place will stun you for hours. Sheena is an angel and extremely flexible and welcoming. She loves her home island and that energy is infectious. If you come here without a plan or wanting to see the real island outside your resort Call IslandTours, Sheena is your girl!! Everyone who visits Mahe should have a tour from Sheena. She was extremely knowledgeable of the island, it's secrets, and history right down to the upside down map. The stories and sights she shared will stay with us forever. She gave us an incredible private tour of the Spice Garden where she showed us herbal remedies used many years ago by her ancestors and still used today by many locals. If there was anything we wanted to see along the road she stopped and is flexible adjusting the route. We truly felt we experienced the island and it's culture from top to bottom. We would highly recommend her tours and will absolutely book her again when we return.
